Stringer passenger jet takes off, we see Stringer starring intently out of the airplane window. His phone rings. His drug partner Brian calls.
BRIAN
SCOTLAND YARD is crawling all over
the block. They're looking for your flat.
STRINGER
Into cell phone Whatever you do, do not let them get close. You know what to do. Get the car warmed up and meet me at the flat. Look for my cab, I’ll be out in a flash.

INT: LONDON - SCOTLAND YARD - HEARING ROOM
The TWO INVESTIGATORS are seen walking into a government office building. They enter through two large front doors walk briskly through the lobby. Enter a conference room.

The woman enters enters the goverment building, her foot steps echo through hall. She walks to the interrogation table. She places the file folder on a table in front of, Lead Investigator, MR. LOWELL (40’s, frumpy suit, serious.) He nods to the woman. She exits.
MR. LOWELL looks across the table at DAVID HALL (Handsome, 50, well dressed.)
Investigators are in a tense meeting.

Information came to the Customs and
Excise that two people named MANLEY
and O'Hara were dealing in large
quantities of cocaine. They were establishing an "importation drug ring."
Manley and O'Hara were two small
time dealers. Their main supplier
we've identified is an old British
Special Forces Commando, Nick Stringer.

Brian, 30’s, tall, striking features, wiry hair sits with a blank stare on his face. Lowell turns to face him.

On Monday, July of this year at
approximately 10 o’clock, with
other Officers of Customs an
Excise, I went to the premises at
39 Carriage Road, London. I
introduced myself to the occupant
of these premises, a person who I
now know to be Mr. Julian Brian.
I cautioned Mr. Brian rule 11 and
arrested him on suspicion of being
involved in drug smuggling.
Together with Mr. Tarleton, officer
of Customs and Excise I escorted
Mr. Brian to premises at 109
Bulham Palace Toad, London. Mr.
Brian went to a file cabinet and
took a clear plastic bag containing
a white powder from one of the
drawers. He handed this packet to
me which I now produce marked
exhibit A. I asked Mr. Brian what
the package contained. He replied
“Cocaine.”
Brian is sitting across the table from DAVID GORDON HALL. He has a blank stare on his face.

When did you last see MR. Stringer?
MR. BRIAN
I want a solicitor, I wish to say

Mr. Stevenson proceed.
MR. ANTHONY STEVENSON
I saw Mr. Stringer leave his
premises. He approached a Cadillac
motor vehicle, License BYW 651W.
Which was stationary in front of
his residence. Stringer went to
the offside door of the Cadillac,
opened it and got in. I approached
the offside door of the Cadillac
and attempted to open it. I saw Mr.
Stringer in the front passenger
seat and in the driving seat I saw
a man I now know to be Mr. Manley.
At this time the Cadillac’s engine
started and the vehicle reversed a
short distance.
The Cadillac then quickly moved
forward a I saw Mr. Stenson,
officer of Customs and Excise,
lying across the windscreen.

INVESTIGATOR ONE (VO)
Our Investigators filmed an
exchange of a white package
allegedly containing cocaine. It
was handed from O'Hara to Stringer.
Stringer arrived in a cab with a
brief case, went into his apartment. Brian was seen driving
by to a spot in Abbotsbury Road
14. Brian appeared waiting for
Stringer. Stringer exited his flat
and switched places with the cab
driver. Police and Customs's
officers surrounded the cab. The
officers identified themselves to
both Stringer, holding their
identity cards on the window of the
car. Stringer floored the
accelerator, our Customs Officer
standing in front of the cab had to
take evasive action, he jumped on
the bonnet.
INVESTIGATOR TWO
The Customs Officer hung on to the
bonnet for some 200 to 300 yards at
a very high speed. Our people
rammed the cab several times and
our man on the bonnet was able to
roll off unhurt. Stringer made good
on his escape with officers in
pursuit. A package estimated to
weigh 1 pound was thrown out the
window of the cab. We took Stringer
girlfriend back to our office for
interrogation. Stringer escaped we
have no idea how, we know that his
ultimate destination was the USA.
The investigators in the room are looking at each other nodding in disbelief.
EXT: LONDON - THE CHASE - AFTERNOON
Brian lives in a flat across from Stringer, he walks out side, he sees THREE YOUNG GIRLS smoking weed in an alley, Brian hands them a wad of money.
The THREE GIRLS walk out of the alley, into the street, and begin stripping, horns are beeping, cars are backing up, STORE OWNERS and RESIDENTS are looking out their windows, the SCOTLAND YARD OFFICERS are sidetracked.
INVESTIGATORS get a call from their section leader, they rush out of Stringer’s building, down the street, Brian quickly moves to Stringer’s apartment and removes the plastic bags from Stringer floor safe.
Brian leaves the flat, walks across the street and gets in his car. SCOTLAND YARD DETECTIVES detain the GIRLS. They faint ignorance.
EXT. LONDON - STRINGER’S FLAT - AFTERNOON
Stringer lands at LONDON'S HEATHROW takes a cab to his flat. As he approaches, Scotland Yard is escorting Brigitta out the front door of the flat into an unmarked car. Stringer waits for the coast to clear. Then signals BRIAN to park down the street, he's dropped off in front of his flat.
Stringer gets out of the cab, runs up the stairs to his residence, the flat has been ransacked by SCOTLAND YARD DETECTIVES, he pulls up hallway floorboards covering a safe.
Stringer opens the safe and pulls out a duffel bag with cash and plastic bags filled with cocaine.
Stringer walks to his window, sees a black Escort and a black BMW. Stringer runs down stairs.
Brian is gunning their get-a-way car. Stringer jumps in. The chase is on. The AGENTS in the black Escort drive slowly by Stringer’s Cadillac. They see Stringer in the passenger seat. The Escort quickly U-turns back to the Cadillac.
SCOTLAND YARD CUSTOMS OFFICER
Climb up his ass.
Brian hits the gas, the Agent in the passenger side of BMW b jumps out, he's behind the Cadillac, he runs around to the front of the Cadillac cab presses his I.D. card against the passenger side window as the Cadillac speeds away.
Brian slams the Cadillac into reverse smashes into the BMW. Switches back to drive and speeds forward. The agent jumps back in the BMW passenger seat.
The Agent’s BMW front end is smashed. The Agents’s are trying to restart the car. The BMW starts. The damaged BMW tailgates Brian’s Cadillac. Brian slams on the breaks, the BMW is knocked spinning.
AGENT 1 DRIVER
Son of a bitch.
With his front tires spinning wildly Brian fights to straighten the Cadillac as the Escort tries to box Brian. Brian circles around the Escort and speeds off.
A young Bike rider is crossing the intersection, Brian slams on the breaks, narrowly missing the Bike rider. Another Scotland Yard vehicle appears trying to cut Brian off.
An agent jumps out of the vehicle runs between the Bike Rider and the cab, waving his arms yelling for Brian to stop, pounding on the bonnet, Brian is determined, hit's the accelerator, the AGENT jumps on the bonnet of the Brian’s car. Brian, jumps the curb and circles around the Bike Rider, the agent is face down holding onto the wiper blades. Brian speeds off. The agent is still handing on the “bonnet.” As Brian speeds off, Stringer rolls down the windows and throws out bags of cocaine.
Brian turns right on Holland Park, the Escort rams the rear side, causing the Cadillac to broad side across Holland Park avenue forcing the Agents car into a wall.
The Cadillac screetches to a halt. The AGENT rolls off the hood and runs back to the passenger door. The Agent peers into the front seat and sees Stringer and Brian. The agent can’t open the locked passenger door. Brian again floors it. After more than a mile of a high speed driving through side streets and signals, Brian loses the Escort and BMW.
Brian stops in front of a clothing shop outside of London. Stringer jumps out. Brian speeds off.
STRINGER
Thanks mate, we will be talking.
Stringer walks into an upscale clothing store, customers are shopping, Stringer takes a long overcoat off the rack, puts it walks out the back door. Stringer’s in a phone booth, looks at his watch, calls Morris. Morris’s cell phone buzzes, it's Stringer. Morris and Sandi are in bed.
INT: LOS ANGELES - HOTEL ROOM - MORNING
Phone rings it’s Stringer.
MORRIS
What's up mate?
Stringer hears static on the line, it must be Scotland Yard.
STRINGER
I'll make it fast, The worst
possible thing has happened. Can't
talk mate, will be in touch!
Sandi hears the commotion, and rolls over. Morris stares at the ceiling.
INT. SCOTLAND YARD - INTERROGATION - AFTERNOON
Brigitta is under SCOTLAND YARD custody. She’s charged as an accessory for the importation of illegal drugs.
INT. SCOTLAND YARD - ROOM 501B - AFTERNOON
Brigitta gets out of an elevator accompanied by SCOTLAND YARD AGENT KEEGAN. Keegan leads her into an interragation room. Brigitta is calm.
AGENT KEEGAN
Please have a seat.
Reads her rule 11 rights in a stern voice he asks
“You do not have to say anything.
But, it may harm your defence if
you do not mention when questioned
something which you later rely on

Morris is in Monaco. He’s deep in thought having a drink on “Arrows’s,” waiting for a call or message from Stringer. Satellites searching for Stringers signal.

Table 14 is a table in a beach side restaurant in Ventimiglia, outside of San Remo.
EXT. SAN REMO - RESTAURANT - MORNING
Stringer and Rocco are sitting at an outside table watching kite surfers they look around to make sure their not followed. Stringer glides to the beach in front of the restaurant. He packs his surfing equipment on top of a rental car. Stringer’s color has a beard and different color hair. Crosses the street.
STRINGER (CONT’D)
They’ve got Brigitta. I'm sorry everyone is involved in this shit storm, I need your help.
MORRIS
You got it, what do you need?
STRINGER
I need an American Passport.
Interpol is looking for me, the
Americans are slow to catch up with
information.
ROCCO

Stringer gets out of the cab, runs up the stairs to his residence, the flat has been ransacked by SCOTLAND YARD DETECTIVES, he pulls up hallway floorboards covering a safe.
Stringer opens the safe and pulls out a duffel bag with cash and plastic bags filled with cocaine.
Stringer walks to his window, sees a black Escort and a black BMW. Stringer runs down stairs.
Brian is gunning their get-a-way car. Stringer jumps in. The chase is on. The AGENTS in the black Escort drive slowly by Stringer’s Cadillac. They see Stringer in the passenger seat. The Escort quickly U-turns back to the Cadillac.
SCOTLAND YARD CUSTOMS OFFICER
Climb up his ass.
Brian hits the gas, the Agent in the passenger side of BMW b jumps out, he's behind the Cadillac, he runs around to the front of the Cadillac cab presses his I.D. card against the passenger side window as the Cadillac speeds away.
Brian slams the Cadillac into reverse smashes into the BMW. Switches back to drive and speeds forward. The agent jumps back in the BMW passenger seat.
The Agent’s BMW front end is smashed. The Agents’s are trying to restart the car. The BMW starts. The damaged BMW tailgates Brian’s Cadillac. Brian slams on the breaks, the BMW is knocked spinning.
Son of a bitch.
With his front tires spinning wildly Brian fights to straighten the Cadillac as the Escort tries to box Brian. Brian circles around the Escort and speeds off.
A young Bike rider is crossing the intersection, Brian slams on the breaks, narrowly missing the Bike rider. Another Scotland Yard vehicle appears trying to cut Brian off.
An agent jumps out of the vehicle runs between the Bike Rider and the cab, waving his arms yelling for Brian to stop, pounding on the bonnet, Brian is determined, hit's the accelerator, the AGENT jumps on the bonnet of the Brian’s car. Brian, jumps the curb and circles around the Bike Rider, the agent is face down holding onto the wiper blades. Brian speeds off. The agent is still handing on the “bonnet.” As Brian speeds off, Stringer rolls down the windows and throws out bags of cocaine.
Brian turns right on Holland Park, the Escort rams the rear side, causing the Cadillac to broad side across Holland Park avenue forcing the Agents car into a wall.
The Cadillac screetches to a halt. The AGENT rolls off the hood and runs back to the passenger door. The Agent peers into the front seat and sees Stringer and Brian. The agent can’t open the locked passenger door. Brian again floors it. After more than a mile of a high speed driving through side streets and signals, Brian loses the Escort and BMW.
Brian stops in front of a clothing shop outside of London. Stringer jumps out. Brian speeds off.
STRINGER
Thanks mate, we will be talking.
Stringer walks into an upscale clothing store, customers are shopping, Stringer takes a long overcoat off the rack, puts it walks out the back door. Stringer’s in a phone booth, looks at his watch, calls Morris. Morris’s cell phone buzzes, it's Stringer. Morris and Sandi are in bed.
INT: LOS ANGELES - HOTEL ROOM - MORNING
Phone rings it’s Stringer.
MORRIS
What's up mate?
Stringer hears static on the line, it must be Scotland Yard.
STRINGER
I'll make it fast, The worst
possible thing has happened. Can't
talk mate, will be in touch!
Sandi hears the commotion, and rolls over. Morris stares at the ceiling.
INT. SCOTLAND YARD - INTERROGATION - AFTERNOON
Brigitta is under SCOTLAND YARD custody. She’s charged as an accessory for the importation of illegal drugs.
Brigitta gets out of an elevator accompanied by SCOTLAND YARD AGENT KEEGAN. Keegan leads her into an interragation room. Brigitta is calm.
AGENT KEEGAN
Please have a seat.
Reads her rule 11 rights in a stern voice he asks
“You do not have to say anything.
But, it may harm your defence if
you do not mention when questioned
something which you later rely on
in court. Anything you do say may
be given in evidence.”
Where is Mr. Stringer?
BRIGITTA
I don't know.
AGENT KEEGAN
An officer has been injured, this
is a serious matter, where is he?
BRIGITTA
I hope the officer is not seriously
hurt.
AGENT KEEGAN
He'll be fine. Have you been told
why you are here?
BRIGITTA
Yes.
AGENT KEEGAN
Do you wish to make your own
position clear in this matter?
BRIGITTA
I have no idea why you are looking
for Stringer.
AGENT KEEGAN
Look, We need to know were Stringer
is. What type of people would he be
with at a time like this?
BRIGITTA
I don't know.
AGENT KEEGAN
What did Stringer do for a living
to support you?
BRIGITTA
Why do you ask? Stringer has lots
of friends, and he's involved in
different things. He never talks
about business around me.
AGENT KEEGAN
Keegan appears irritated.
Your telling me, you never asked
him what type of business he was
in?
BRIGITTA
Oh yes, I asked, he would just say
what you don't know won't hurt you!
AGENT KEEGAN
What you don't know won't hurt you,
is that right?
BRIGITTA
It sounds silly, but I had no
reason to doubt him.
He traveled a lot to South America,
did he ever mention any names of
people he did business with in
Bolivia?
BRIGITTA
It was business, he never spoke to
me about business.
AGENT KEEGAN
What are Mr. Stringer’s connections
with motor racing?
BRIGITTA
He said motor racing is so
expensive, people are always
looking for money.
AGENT KEEGAN
Have you traveled abroad with Mr.
Stringer?
BRIGITTA
Yes Europe, North and South
America.
AGENT KEEGAN
You mixed with high society and had
many friends.
BRIGITTA
Yes that's true.
AGENT KEEGAN
Please do not leave London until
this investigation is completed.

EXT. MONACO - ARROWS YACHT - AFTERNOON
Morris is in Monaco. He’s deep in thought having a drink on “Arrows’s,” waiting for a call or message from Stringer. Satellites searching for Stringers signal.

STRINGER
Meet me at Table 14 at 11 am in two
days.
Table 14 is a table in a beach side restaurant in Ventimiglia, outside of San Remo.
Stringer and Rocco are sitting at an outside table watching kite surfers they look around to make sure their not followed. Stringer glides to the beach in front of the restaurant. He packs his surfing equipment on top of a rental car. Stringer’s color has a beard and different color hair. Crosses the street.
STRINGER (CONT’D)
They’ve got Brigitta. I'm sorry everyone is involved in this shit storm, I need your help.
MORRIS
You got it, what do you need?
STRINGER
I need an American Passport.
Interpol is looking for me, the
Americans are slow to catch up with
information.
ROCCO
Meet me in two days, at 11, in
front of Angelo’s across the street
from the Rome Termini Central train
station.
STRINGER
I've already contacted my friends
in Israel, we're setting up a
private jet to America sometime in
the next six weeks.
MORRIS
I'll be in New York, about the same
time. Let's make contact. I'll see
what the Brits are up to, we may be
able to turn this around.
ROCCO
I'll see you in two days.
Morris and Rocco walk to their car and drive off.
